Senior Core Expert

Kimberly Hume is looking for a number of Senior Core Experts to work a 12 month extendable contract based in Germany (Dusseldorf).

Job Description: 

Core Expert responsibilities involves detailed technical investigation, troubleshooting, and providing solutions while maintaining professional communication with VIP users and stakeholders.

• Proficiency in detailed technical investigation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to fetch, trace, open and update tickets.

Responsibilities: 

• Perform detailed technical investigations to diagnose and resolve core network issues.
• Troubleshoot and suggest solutions for identified problems in the core network.
• Manage and resolve an average of 6 tickets per day, not exceeding 30-40 tickets per week.
• Fetch, trace, open, and update tickets for each identified VIP issue or received VIP complaints.
• Ensure timely resolution of issues and maintain detailed documentation.
• Cooperate with internal and external stakeholders such as Engineering, NOC, and Vendors.
• Maintain continuous communication with other teams (e.g., CTM) to align on open bugs and network problems.
• Involve Incident Managers for joint investigations with other stakeholders as needed.
• Provide professional and courteous communication with VIP users when required.
• Consultant will work on rotation-based shift, including nights and weekends, exclude public holiday but limited to 8 hours per day, 5 days a week

•  The shift timing will be 8 hours each day from 0700 Hrs. -1500hrs , 1500 Hrs. -2200 Hrs. and 2200 to 0700 Hrs. It can be any one shift on rotational basis.

Acceptance Criteria for Selection:

• Proven experience within Core Network
• Experience with technical investigation and troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of 5G network architecture, protocols, and standards.
• Ability to manage multiple tickets and tasks efficiently.
• Strong documentation skills to maintain detailed records of investigations and resolutions.
• Well- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Professional demeaner for potentially interacting with VIP users.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Telecommunication, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of telecommunication technology industry experience
• 7+ years of network test experience/radio technologies experience
