Network Planning & Optimization Engineer

The client is looking for a Network Planning & Optimization Engineer based in Africa. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for 2G/3G/4G/5G radio frequency network planning & optimization, QoS and QoE management, 5 years long term project.
• Familiar with network optimization tools.
• Able to communicate with Customer and make network performance improvement value presentation.
• Familiar with at least two technologies optimization skills: feature & parameter optimization and KPI optimization.
• Improve network KPIs/performance indicators by multiple methods, including RF filed azimuth/tilt adjustment, parameter/feature optimization.
• Familiar with performance degradation issues troubleshooting methodology, customer complaints handling and report output.
• Make routine radio network insights regarding network pain points of coverage, quality, throughput by multiple data source, propose corresponding short term and middle/long term solutions to improve QoS.
• Good at customer communication and value presentation at customer manager level , be able to output network quality improvement summary report.
• Have solid knowledge of wireless, IP and core network, able to organize E2E troubleshooting with MS Backoffice team for QoS Issues.

Work Qualifications：

• More than 3 years working experience in Radio Network Planning and Optimization domain.
• Have successful NPM project delivery experiences especially with Ericsson equipment.
• Fluent in English is mandatory. Able to speak French is additional advantage.
• Good team spirit with proactive work attitude.
• Good value presentation and customer communication skills. Engage with customers and manage customer voice.
• Strong sense of ownership, can follow issues end to end until resolution.
• Ericsson RF/NPM experiences is required.
