IP/MPLS Expert Engineer

The client is looking for an IP/MPLS Expert Engineer to work a 9-month rolling contract based in Denmark (Remote can be considered).

Candidate profile:

Experience with IP/MPLS network, routing and switching. Have been working with network design and architecture focusing on data, risks, and customer experience. The client expects that the candidate works well in a changing environment that moves at a fast pace.

• Routing and switching (OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, BFD, RSVP, etc).
• Experience with the TCP/IP stack.
• Understanding of mobile services.
• Fluent English both in speech and writing.
• Experience or knowledge on network automation and network security is not a requirement but contributes positively.

• Transport network design and architecture to enable connectivity for the new mobile core.
• Understanding of both mobile and fixed services for all segments (consumer, enterprise, and wholesale) to build a network infrastructure that caters for all service requirements.
• IP/MPLS implementation tasks (hands-on) .
• Close collaboration with the OSS team to help work towards zero-touch ways of working.
• Understanding of network services such as DHCP, NTP, DNS, FTP servers among others.

Please note: The role can be worked remotely, however you must be willing to travel to Denmark 1 or 2x per month as per customer requirement. Due to this request the client will only consider consultants with an EU passport.
