Field Vendor Controller

The client is looking for a Field (PPM) Vendor Controller to work a 6 month rolling contract based in United Kingdom (Remotely).

Job Description:

• The PPM Vendor Controller role will be a key interface towards the I&M Supplier, who perform outsourced tasks on behalf of the FSO, and supporting Technical Contract Leads responsible for the Suppliers contractual performance.
• The PPM Vendor Controller will be responsible for ensuring the Daily Activities completed by the I&M supplier are completed in accordance with the PPM standards Manual.
• The PPM Vendor Controller will handle input provided by the I&M supplier and managed inputs to resolution according to the PPM triage rules.
• The PPM Vendor Controller will be part of a team committed to increasing quality, accountability, performance and compliance of our I&M supplier in line with the signed contract to deliver “best in class” Services to Customers.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Handle day to day operational task between I&M supplier and Key Stake holders.
• Perform Quality Audits on I&M supplier, both desktop and field based, and assist the Technical Contract lead in the development of any Improvement Plans.
• Approve and check applications for payment from I&M Supplier, and work with Technical Contract Lead to ensure all services are deliver in line with contractual SLA.
• Logging of Triage data and creation of Operational Reporting to Govern Supplier performance and report to customers.
• Ensuring good working relationships with key stakeholders, including but not restricted to COPs, MSIP, EGI, ODM/OEM.

Experience:

• At least 2 years’ experience in a Telco Environment of Intra structure maintenance role.
• Experience of working within the Mobile Telcom Field Environment.
• Experience with providing reporting to stake holders primarily Excel Driven.

Competence:

• Experience of Network cell site maintenance activities within a mobile telecommunications environment.
• Supplier Management.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Health and Safety issues within a Field Operations environment.

Please note: This role is remote working, however you could occasionally be requested to attend the office in Reading therefore consultants must be based in UK.
