DevOps Engineer

The client is looking for a DevOps Engineer (CI / CD Pipeline Development) to work a 12 month rolling contract based Remotely (Any location considered).

Responsibility:

• Understand e2e automation vision and use cases ( e.g., Onboard, Deploy, Upgrade, Rollback, Terminate CNF/VNFs)
• Single point of contact to take CI/CD requirements and architecture as an input and provide an HLD/LLD of Core CI/CD pipeline
• Design end-to-end pipeline workflow in GitLab for the use cases covering prechecks, postchecks (failure scenarios) and tasks
• Consolidate different solutions from CNF vendors (E///, Nokia, Openet, Titanium) and arrive at a standardized design for all use cases

Skills:

• Prior Experience in developing the CI/CD pipelines with all dependencies and prerequisites
• Good understanding of CI/CD toolchain: GitLab, Git Repo, Jfrog
• Good GitLab based pipeline development skills – how to develop stages and jobs in GitLab
• Good understanding of leveraging security tools in CI/CD pipeline e.g., Qualys, Vault, SonarQube etc.
• Good understanding of integration of GitLab pipelines via REST APIs to different orchestration tools and test automation framework
• Good understanding of mobile core CNFs life cycle management (PaCo -CMM, CMG, IMS – UDM, PCRF etc.)
• Understanding of how to operate GitLab based CI/CD pipeline is preferable
• Understanding of integration with automation frameworks like ansible, Jenkins etc. is preferable

Please note: The customer is based in Netherlands and the selected consultant may be asked to attend customer office occasionally (Project dependent). Travel expense would be covered.
