B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer

The client, who are a leading UK private aviation company offering a comprehensive range of aviation facilities and services to customers worldwide, is searching for a B2 CAA Licensed Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring ensure the airworthiness of aircraft by carrying out scheduled and non-routine maintenance, repairs, and avionic troubleshooting within the scope of authorisation approvals held while supervising and certifying the work of non-certifying technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Certification: Certify scheduled and non-routine maintenance within the scope of authorisation approvals held.
• Quality Assurance: Responsible for the quality of work performed by self and non-certifying technicians under supervision.
• Maintenance and Repairs: Complete maintenance, repairs, and avionic troubleshooting tasks as directed by the Base Maintenance Shift Supervisor.
• Avionic Systems: Replace avionic line replaceable units and conduct off-aircraft avionic and electrical technical work in the avionics workshop as required.
• Compliance: Adhere to all relevant aviation regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Supervision: Provide technical guidance and supervision to non-certifying technicians.
