Azure Systems Administrator

The client is looking for an Azure Systems Administrator to work on a 6 month extendable contract based in the Caribbean.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, manage, and monitor Azure resources (e.g., Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, etc.).
• Implement and maintain best practices for security, scalability, and performance.

Kubernetes Administration:

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters (preferably using AKS).
• Optimize cluster performance and implement effective container orchestration strategies.
  
  

Scripting & Automation:

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Linux shell scripting and/or PowerShell.
• Automate routine administrative tasks and monitor system health.

Server Resource Management:

• Monitor and manage server resources to ensure high availability and performance.
• Perform capacity planning, troubleshooting, and system tuning.
• Monitor and Optimize Azure Spending.
• Implement cost control strategies, managing budgets, and leveraging Azure Cost Management tools.

• Work closely with development and operations teams to support CI/CD pipelines and application deployments.
• Document system configurations, procedures and troubleshooting guides.
