Our client, a global leader in digital and biometric identity authentication, fraud prevention, and mobile deposit solutions, is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join their Pre-Sales team in the United States. This role is fully remote, with a preference for candidates located in the Eastern US time zone.

The Role


As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will partner with the Sales team to drive new business and secure technical wins. You will engage with key stakeholders, understand customer pain points, and demonstrate how the company’s solutions address these challenges effectively. You’ll guide customers through product evaluations and collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and integration.

What You’ll Do

  • Expert Product Knowledge: Become a technical expert in the company’s product suite, educating customers on offerings, integration techniques, and best practices.
  • Technical Engagements: Lead discussions around technical requirements, use cases, and success criteria.
  • Solution Selling: Understand customer pain points to apply creative solution-based selling strategies.
  • Presentations & Demos: Confidently deliver tailored presentations and demonstrations to win customer trust and approval.
  • Evaluation Success: Ensure proof of concepts (POCs) and pilots are set up for success and lead to positive outcomes.
  • Customer Collaboration: Work directly with clients to troubleshoot issues and provide hands-on support as needed.
  • Internal Feedback: Capture valuable insights from customer interactions to inform product development and improvements.
  • Cross-Team Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to develop robust system solutions and ensure smooth transitions post-sales.


About You

Core Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, or technical consulting.
  • Strong background in SaaS, web-based, and enterprise application architectures.
  • Knowledge of client-server architecture, communication protocols, and information security practices.
  • Expertise with REST/JSON web services, SDKs, and API integrations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Experience in the Identity, Fraud, and/or Risk industry.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% for customer engagements.


Preferred Experience

  • Experience with financial services, FinTech, or gig economy companies.
  • Prior involvement in developing or managing mobile/web applications.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
